HAVE YOUR SAY: JEREMIAH O’TOOLE PARK PLAYGROUND

Morningside Ward Councillor, Lucy Collier is campaigning for a playground upgrade at Jeremiah O’Toole Park.

The playground, on Baringa St in Morningside is basic and dated.

Cr Collier is calling for community feedback, launching a survey open now until February 2024. The survey asks locals what they currently like about the space and what additions they’d like to see.

That feedback will help form the Councillor’s push for upgrades with Brisbane City Council.

“Jeremiah O’Toole park in Morningside is beautiful – and with more and more families moving into the area I think that this older playground deserves an upgrade.”

“That’s why I would like to hear about what the community likes about this playground, and what they’d like to see improved. Ask your kids what they think too as they’ll be the ones using it,” Cr Collier said.
