HAVE YOUR SAY: ELLEN GROVE DISTRICT PRECINCT

Brisbane City Council is calling on residents to have their say on the proposed new Ellen Grove District Park Precinct.

The concept plan aims to create a sense of community, activity and play in a space that blends the natural environment with modern facilities. The proposed features include open green spaces, recreational infrastructure, tennis and pickleball courts, playground and gathering spaces, while preserving biodiversity values.

The space will focus on active play, social play, quiet play and nature/creative play.

Two rounds of community consultation have already occurred, with residents meeting with Council’s project team to provide feedback and insights into what the park needs for the community.

The draft concept plan can be found here. Feedback can be provided online until December 1 or in person on Thursday 21 November 2.30-5pm, corner of Coriander Place and Woogaroo Street.

Feedback will be considered and a final concept plan will be released in mid-2025 with works expected to commence in 2026.
