GET INVOLVED: CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA DAY

Every year thousands of Australians take part in Clean Up Australia Day, helping to clean up our local parks, streets, beaches and bushland, and conserve our beautiful environment. Now’s the time to start planning and register an event to help clean up your community.

On behalf Brisbane City Council, the Brisbane Sustainability Agency coordinates Clean Up Australia Day volunteers and activities throughout Brisbane. See details for this year’s event below:

Clean Up Australia Day 2025

Business Clean Up Day         Tuesday 25thFebruary 2025

Schools Clean Up Day           Friday 28th February 2025

Community Clean Up Day      Sunday 2nd March 2025

Residents are encouraged to register online by going to www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au where you will have the option to register a clean-up site or join an existing site.

If you are registering your own site, you will have the option to be sent a clean-up kit, and additional equipment can be purchased via the Clean Up Australia Day website.
