We’re well and truly into winter now, being plunged into chilly darkness by 5:30pm and all.
But we won’t be heading into spring without a treat.
Introducing: Brisbane Winter Sessions.
16 of Brisbane’s iconic venues will be showcasing over 30 live acts.
From the hardcore Thy Art Is Murder to indie pop rockers Dopamine and everything in
between, there’s something for everyone in this line-up with even more to be announced.
In addition to a heap of live music, there are a few events happening too:
There’ll be Drag Night at the Zoo, the annual Burger Fest at the Triffid, and the Richie Yorke All-Star Gig at the Prince Consort Hotel.
It’s no secret that in dealing with COVID, live music has taken it to the shins badly.
That’s why it’s pretty ace this winter sessions is happening.
Some of these festivities will be free; others will need a ticket.
