WHAT’S ON: POSTPONED! FOREST LAKE EKKA FUN DAY

Due to the heavy rain forecasted for Wednesday’s public holiday, Grand Avenue State School P&C have made the difficult decision to postpone the Ekka Fun Day.

The new date is now 23 November 2024. The school put an announcement out on Monday, apologising for any inconvenience.

For those who have purchased wristbands, these will be transferred to the new date. If this doesn’t suit, please contact the Grand Avenue State School P&C for a refund.

The event has been rescheduled for November, still offering free entry and fun for the whole family.

The community can expect face painting, show bags, a petting zoo, plus market stalls and food vendors offering a variety of options.

For the ride lovers, single tickets start at $7 and a bulk ride pass can be pre-purchased for $40 or bought at the event for $50.
