Creatives, performers and residents are campaigning hard to save their beloved East Brisbane Bowls club.

The building, currently being used as a thriving community space for music and performance, is being bulldozed by the LNP-run Brisbane City Council to make way for a carpark in the Mowbray Park redevelopment.

In community consultation however, residents said they wanted the building upgraded and kept as a community facility.

To fight back against the LNP Mayor’s decision, locals have launched the “Save Our Bowlo” (S.O.B) campaign.

This Saturday night (05/02/2022) the S.O.B crew are hosting an epic line up of local bands to raise awareness for their campaign.

Tickets are $13 each and the funds raised will be used to fight back against the LNP Council and their decision to demolish their home.
