ON:STAGE K-pop Workshop
K-pop fans and dance enthusiasts can head to the Thomas Dixon Centre in West End on Saturday 17 January, from 1–5pm, for the ON:STAGE K-pop Workshop. This creative session offers a chance to learn choreography, connect with fellow fans, and dive into the global phenomenon that is K-pop. Bookings are essential.

Free Exhibitions to Explore
Art lovers can enjoy a dose of visual inspiration with Thresholds & Memories, a joint exhibition by artists Lois Kim and Hannah Seong. Running from Friday 23 January to Monday 23 February at the Thomas Dixon Centre, this free exhibition explores themes of memory, identity, and transformation through contemporary works.
Time is running out to see Under a Modern Sun: Art in Queensland 1930s–1950s. This free exhibition at QAG highlights mid-20th century Queensland art, featuring works by Brisbane icons Vida Lahey and William Bustard, alongside regional talents like Kenneth Macqueen and Joe Rootsey. It also traces how visiting artists—such as Sidney Nolan and Max Dupain—shaped Queensland’s modernist identity through their engagement with its landscapes and stories.
