The spookiest night of the year is gaining more and more momentum for families across Brisbane and this year is no exception.

Whether is community events, library sessions or trick-or-treating, there’s a stack of events coming up in all corners of the city for the whole family to enjoy.

13 September – 3 November

Spooky Putt Putt – Victoria Park 

Tee off amidst the creepy clowns of Carn-evil, then venture into the otherworldly fun of Alien Invasion. As you navigate the VP Graveyard, stay vigilant—the friendly zombies might just reach out for a ghastly handshake!

18 October

The Witches Market @ Rocklea Showgrounds

Ge ready to step into your very own Diagon Alley, a realm overflowing with all things magical (while ensuring your safety, of course). Say goodbye to the hassle of shopping at ordinary supermarkets for your “supplies” because this market has got you covered!

The Witches Market takes pride in offering a wide range of enchantments, catering to visitors of all levels of witchery. And if that wasn’t enchanting enough, the festivities will take place at the delightful Nicholas Street Precinct, a truly magical venue.

Hold on to your broomsticks because the most exciting part of the event awaits you – the Best Dressed competition and parade at 5 pm

Hocus Pocus – Bulimba Memorial Park

Get ready for a spooktacular celebration like no other! Dance the night away with DJ Shorty Brown as they pump up the party vibes on the dance floor. Explore the expanded Trick-or-Treat Lane, where you’ll discover more treats and thrills than ever before! Dive into a world of excitement with an array of inflatable rides and games, promising endless fun for all ages! Be mesmerised by live performances that will leave you spellbound with delight!

DELICIOUS food trucks and amazing market stalls will fill the oval and there will be TWO stages.

Halloween Fun – Banyo Library

Join the Banyo Library from 4pm-5pm for scary stories and creepy craft to celebrate Halloween, with spooky songs and ghoulish games! Children are welcome to wear dress-ups. Ideal for all ages.

Halloween Spooktacular – Wynnum Library 

Come dressed in your creepiest costume and join the Wynnum Library for an afternoon of spooky stories and freaky fun. Ideal for children aged 5-12 years.

Halloween Storytime – Bracken Ridge Library
