With the Covid wave making its way though Brisbane and Queensland, there are many of us stuck in isolation.

The elderly, the young, those with weak immune systems, close contacts and those currently infected with COVID are all staying home for their health and the health of others.

With thousands of Queenslanders unable to leave their home, getting essential items can prove to be difficult.

Especially if you have no nearby family or friends or neighbours that are willing to help you.

Cue the Queensland Care Army.

A group of volunteers that have been operating since COVID-19 was a thing and now they are once again stepping up to assist in the face of this newest wave.

Check out the video below to see how the Care Army helps.

“The Care Army has continued to support Queenslanders through the pandemic, most recently, through administrative and logistical tasks at the Vaccination Clinics for Queensland Health.” – QLD Government

All support must be provided in non-contact, COVID safe ways.
