In part two of our series introducing to the hard-working local champions who are putting their hands up to represent you at the 2024 Brisbane City City election, this week we’re staying on the north side, heading to the Enoggera Ward.

Meet Taylar Wojtasik, Labor’s Candidate for Enoggera

Taylar is a young professional who cares about the Enoggera Ward and wants to see a new energy and drive in City Hall.

Her background in law, particularly as an advocate for survivors of domestic and family violence has given Taylar a strong sense of social justice and is part of why serving her community is so important to her.

More recently, Taylar has been heavily involved in the Mitchelton Rotary Club, as part of their Executive.

Active transport and improving infrastructure is also a key priority for Taylar – with her young nieces, she enjoys getting out and about and enjoying the open spaces in the suburbs of Enoggera – and she has already made connections with the Brisbane North BUG.

Since being announced as your candidate for the Enoggera Ward, Taylar has already been listening to the community’s views on issues that are important to them, like the Kooya Road development application.

A ride-along with the group gave Taylar a great insight into what commuters want and the improvements that can be made, particularly around Kedron Brook.

Brisbane is a progressive and modern city, and Taylar is passionate about ensuring the people of Enoggera are represented by a fresh voice who has their best interests at the they heart of everything they do.
