Got a ‘spare’ day these holidays?

Why not strap on some daggy bowling shoes and hit the alleys?

That’s right, Brisbane still has bowling alleys!

The old AMF venues are now called “Zone” and most are back up and running.

Zone Bowling, Garden City.

If you’re on the Southside, you’re in luck with plenty of Zone Bowling alleys to choose from.

There’s one in Richlands, Mt Gravatt, Garden City, Capalaba and Loganholme.

It’ll cost you around $17 per game for an adult and $16 for a concession.

Strike Bowling at Wintergarden (just off the Queen St Mall) is perfect for an inner-city wrist flick, drink, and bite to eat.

It also has Laser Tag, Putt Putt and Escape Rooms if bowling isn’t enough to strike out your boredom.

If you’re on the Northside the best bet for some holiday bowling action is Aspley Ten Pin or Kingpin at Chermside.

Aspley has got some great holiday deals with two games, shoe hire, nuggets and chips all for less than $20 per person.

As for Kingpin, it’s far more than just a bowling alley.

The Chermside venue boasts Karaoke, Laser Tag, Escape Rooms, and a very cool gaming arcade too.
