It happens once in a blue moon. A total Lunar eclipse.
But tonight’s event is even more special because the eclipse will occur at the same time as a ‘super moon’ which is when a full moon reaches its closest point to Earth.
The double phenomenon is called a ‘True Super Blood Moon’. Pretty cool right?
This event last occurred 20 years ago according to some reports.
